KickSense Sensor
$219.99

KickSense is a foot-mounted Bluetooth sensor built for specialists who actually care about how hard they’re swinging, not just how a ball happens to fly on one rep. Strap it to your cleat, connect to the app, record from any angle, and see real foot speed through the swing, including speed right at contact. You finally get a clear number for the power you are building, even when wind, holds, or contact make the ball flight messy. Track personal bests for field goals, punts, and kickoffs, see how technique tweaks change your speed, and lock in the swings that actually move the needle. KickSense keeps videos on your device, needs no subscription, and is built for one job only: help kickers and punters hit bigger, more repeatable balls with data they can trust.

Wind, snap, hold… none of that hides my progress now. If foot speed climbs, I know I’m on the right track.
Trevor S, NM

Ball flight lies sometimes. Wind and timing noise get in the way. Foot speed does not. When my contact speed went from 40.9 to 43.0, I kept the technique change and the distance arrived a few sessions later.

As a punter I live in variables. Foot speed gives me a stable signal. When I smoothed my drop and saw speed at contact increase, I knew the swing was improving even before hang time moved.

I changed my approach step and ball flight looked worse for a few days. KickSense showed a clear rise in foot speed at contact, so we stuck with it. A week later the strike cleaned up and my long made a real jump. Without the metric I would have bailed early.
FAQs
About the product.
What does KickSense actually measure?
KickSense uses a combination of accelerometer and gyrometer sensors to measure the speed of your kicking foot through the swing, including the exact speed at contact.
Why does foot speed matter?
More foot speed at impact generally means more energy transferred into the ball. If you build higher foot speed with control, you are building the ceiling of your distance and hang time, even if the ball flight doesn't instantly look better.
How is this different from just filming my kicks?
Video alone only shows outcome. KickSense gives you the cause. You can see if a change in technique is actually increasing your foot speed - even on reps where contact was off or the wind killed the ball.
Do I need the sensor for this to work?
Yes. The sensor sits on your foot and records motion directly. That's how we get actual foot speed instead of guessing.
Technique and Improvement
What if the ball still comes off weird?
That happens. Sometimes you’re working on timing or plant position and the strike isn't clean yet. If your foot speed number is going up, keep working that change. Clean contact plus higher speed is where your real distance gain shows up.
How does this help me as a punter?
Punting is full of variables (snap, drop, wind). Foot speed is the one thing you own. If your contact speed is trending up from session to session, you're building more pop, period.
Can this help with consistency, not just power?
Yeah. You can see if you’re delivering a repeatable speed at contact instead of swinging faster or slower without knowing it. Consistent strike speed is part of consistent flight.
Using the product
Do I need internet or a subscription?
No subscription. No always-online requirement. You can record and review offline.
Where do I wear the sensor?
On the kicking foot, strapped in a fixed spot so it doesn’t move around on contact., we recommend closely inline with where you contact the ball - but on the outside of the foot so the speed readings are as accurate to what is contacting the ball as possible.
Is it durable?
It’s built for football use: impact rated and sweat/rain resistant. It’s not made for submersion.
